Nike Blazer Mid 77 Voltage Purple is a clean new edition of the vintage basketball silhouette that’s set to launch soon. The Blazer first launched in 1973, and has remained largely unchanged since due to it’s timeless design. Nike’s instantly recognisable Swoosh logo adorns both the lateral and medial sides in “Voltage Purple”, while a typeface logo is present at the heels and a classic handstyle logo takes pride of place on the foam tongue. While originally designed as a basketball shoe, it was quickly adopted by skateboarders due to the flat sole and cushioned upper. White leather forms the majority of the uppers for a sleek and streamlined feel, while panels of grey suede accentuate the look to reinforce key areas.

Additional Nike branding resides at the tongue and heel for a heavily-branded look, while white leather overlays are present at the shoe’s stress points for improved construction.

The ZX series experienced widespread commercial success throughout the 1990s and is still one of the three-stripe brand’s best selling lines, with the label putting a major push on it into 2020. Three stripe branding runs down each side, while range specific branding is present at both the tongue and heel. Dressed in a stealthy blacked-out colourway, the pair is crafted from a blend of suede, leather and synthetics to form a textured and balanced look.
