Frankly think that it's a problem beyond 2k. This could happen with any other sport which has micro-transactions. Glad you care, and I'm not sure how close you are with your nephew, but maybe instilling notions of the significance of 2K21 MT money into your nephew will repair the issue at its core. That is easier said than done, but somehow teaching him the value and significance of money would then let him make decisions, and less egregious splurging on a NBA 2K21 game. Sorry if that's obscure, but I believe you have ta solve the main issue with cash rather than handling spending along with a new game is going to be his 2k.

I may purchase NBA 2K21 if turns out to be greater than the previous games myself just to rub it into his face about how he saved and spend any amount of money towards the game. Props for that mindset. It is a tough lesson to understand sometimes, but it is about personal accountability, and responsibility. If it isn't 2k, there'll always be something or someone seeking to hustle him.I dont have children (10 nieces and nephews) however that I see this type of thing around. This might be one of those life lessons he has to learn the hard way. I know a lot of people struggle with this type of thing out of school with charge cards and you need to understand the worth of the buck and learn self control. I like your idea here and this can help him determine that the value of saving cash for those things you want.

Putting in some work I agree that it is his money and he can spend it how he wants. Best of luck.i imply, if you are a 2K player already and not just someone visiting to say this, you could probably kill two birds with one stone -- create a build when he does, grind it out with himtoss in VC stimulus packages once the grind starts getting absolutely horrible to reveal him when it's acceptable. (I hate paying for progress and my construct lends itself nicely for a lot of VC, but I would be lying if I said buying 75k would not bail me out of this 85 OVR hell I am in right now)

Yeah, playing the AI in NBa NBA 2K21 games is a little dull but I feel as if you gotta sip the ideology at the bud here. Teach them the grind will help. Essentially showing him that practicing his jumpshot timing is gonna assist more than adding 10k vc into his stat. Funny thing is I don't even play 2k all that far. The one I genuinely player was 2k16 because imo it is a seems like a waste of investment purchasing every installment ontop of having to buy VC to keep up with everyone else. Plus I am old school. I don't mind playing against AI since that's all I did back in the afternoon. We're too Frightened to play comp

Gatekeeping individuals from playing with their buddies its not the thing to do. Pro am as of now hardly gives any excuse. No wages and it takes a bit to search the majority of the time to face a group of all stars or rookies that get blown out. You then hit ace - bronze and you finds games then only at times. So then you sign up for a team where our staff had to pay $35 to get in and $5 dollars to make roster changes(people). All this to find games to play in pro am that are hard. Not letting parties destroys the Buy MT 2K21 fun for people that find games that are fast while playing casually and enjoy playing with their buddies in rec.
