The system requirements for the upcoming World of Warcraft Shadowlands expansion have been updated, and according to Blizzard, an SSD drive is required to perform the growth. Previous expansions, such as World of Warcraft most recent Battle for Azeroth growth, did not cite an SSD as a system requirement.
Like system requirements, Blizzard does notice that system requirements may change over time as a result of potential changes being forced to World of Warcraft.
