It's odd to know that it's due to the mods suppressing posts

.

I mean, outright offensive things should be taken down, I am sure that there are kids on this, and some things actually don't ever need to RS gold be said at all. But if a meme is regarding the game and people are into it, it is going to make its way into the top posts or whatever (I don't understand the sorting classes off top). Will vanish quickly, and you miss them if you don't sort by new.

These are my feelings on the topic, I can't speak for anybody else. But I changed from osrs into rs3 like six months ago since I wish to stay updated about the game I am currently playing and kinda changed over subs, too. And this sub is dull as hell. I mean, there's drama. However, I did not realize I missed that the memes until I noticed that I never saw any in this sub. Beyond that, my very first significant belief of this sub was that this was where people came to complain about matters in the game and be able to roll the dice to get a jmod response, or just vent with other people about stuff. It is not an enjoyable sub. Definitely not compared to this sub. It could be. It's odd to know that it's due to the mods suppressing posts, rather than the community that is rs3 sucking. Kinda changes my perspective.

People on reddit are very few actually contribute to the community. You know who is upvoting this effort spam that is low first and foremost? Lurkers. It's easy to consume. I think that is exactly what the mods will end up doing tho. Let all memes in, remove the offensive ones and let the users dictate which memes remain and which"dies in new". Jut like in r/memes, just the funnier will endure and no one will lead them into the frontpage should they expire in new. As for the complaints and other non effort articles, I believe people already do a good job filtering out those from the frontpage, if one browses by new, they could notice how bad the typical posts are. . . Anyways, which was a justification of your part too, I concur.

I expect so, I noticed that somebody with a badge that was gaudy, I'm assuming the sub owner or something, was stating that they've done away with the meme rule. I am definitely excited about it, if it's really happening. It also promotes a sense of happiness about here when people are having a great time, even if they're clowning super hard or whatever. It'll be interesting to see how the community will get, I know the memes weren't as spicier as those from runescape 2007 but we have the chance to catch up now.

Someone then 25 others create low effort versions that might still hit on gold and puts effort into a meme. It's like market rivalry only with memes. Restricting it to decent effort OC memes basically means some shitty equivalent to a copyright idea. Low effort memes are half what makes enjoyable. The upvote/downvote is sufficient to filter out the trash for most people. I'm awaiting to your memes. This feels like a completely different phase for this sub. I do not really care about memes and they need to be buy rs gold paypal permitted, but calling these memes"decent effort" is beyond me. It is bascially a 1 second (if generous) copy-paste meme.
