World Wide Fund for Nature South Africa

WWF first grew during the 70s and 80s as an international fund raising organisation that works with already exisiting groups that focus on conservation. It was, and still very much is, the WWF’ s mission to bring much needed financial support to global conservation movements after it was established in the Morges Manifesto in 1961 that the expertise to protect our environments already existed, while the financial support did not. Since then, WWF has made great efforts and leaps in helping and supporting various sectors of the world we currently live in, including our oceans, land, wildlife, food, climate and water supplies too.
